The ingredients needed to cook Jalebi:
- Use 1 cup of Chena.
- Get 1/2 cup of Sweet potato boiled.
- Provide 1 tsp of Maida.
- Take 1/2 tsp of Baking powder.
- Use 1 tsp of Ghee.
- Provide 1/2 tsp of Cardamom powder.
- Use 500 gm of Ghee/oil for deep fry.
- Provide 1 cup of Sugar.
Steps to make Jalebi:
- Heat pan add sugar and 1/2 cup water and make a sugar syrup and set aside..
- In a moxing bowl add chena,boiled potato,maida,baking powder,ghee,cardamom powder and mix it very well..
- Make a soft dough and make jalebi shape and set aside..
- Heat oil/ghee in a deep pan add jalebi and deep fry till the golden brown..
