The ingredients needed to make Masala Fish Fry:

  1. Prepare 300 gm of Fish pieces.
  2. Use 1 tsp of ginger garlic paste.
  3. Use 1 tbsp of Lemon juice.
  4. Provide 1 tsp of garam masala.
  5. Provide 1/2 tsp of red chilli powder.
  6. Prepare 1/2 tsp of coriander powder.
  7. Prepare 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder.
  8. Provide to taste of Salt.
  9. You need of For frying fish.
  10. You need as needed of Oil for shallow frying.
  11. Provide 2 of tomatoes puree.
  12. Use as needed of Green spring onion for garnishing.

Instructions to make Masala Fish Fry:

  1. Wash the fish pieces and sprinkle some salt and 1 lemon juice and keep ot aside for 30 to 40 minutes..
  2. Now heat a pan and add oil for shallow frying these fish pieces.
  3. Once fish is fried. In the same pan add 1 tsp oil and add ginger garlic paste, green chillies sauté it for a minute..
  4. Now add tomato puree, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and garam masala and mix well and cook for 5 minutes..
  5. Once the tomato gravy is cooked add fried fish to this. Keep on low flame for 5 minutes with the lid covered..
  6. Now serve hot on plate and garnish it with lemon and green spring onions..
