The ingredients needed to make Shahi Soya Chaap  Gravy:

  1. Provide of For Soya chaap.
  2. Get 1 cup of soya seeds (soaked overnight).
  3. Take 1 cup of soya bean/soya chunks (soaked 1 hr).
  4. You need 2 cup of all -purpose flour Or corn flour.
  5. Prepare 1/3 tsp of nutmeg powder.
  6. Take 1 tsp of cardamon powder.
  7. Prepare to taste of Salt.
  8. Use As needed of Ghee for greasing.
  9. You need of For gravy.
  10. Get 3-4 of small cardamon.
  11. Prepare 2 of medium size cinnamon.
  12. Prepare 1 of star anise.
  13. Provide 2-3 of bay leaf.
  14. Get 1 tbsp of cashew nuts paste.
  15. You need 1 tbsp of poppy seeds paste.
  16. Use 1 tsp of ginger-garlic paste.
  17. Use 250 gm of butter/ ghee.
  18. You need 1 cup of curd.
  19. You need 1/2 tsp of white pepper powder.
  20. You need 1/2 tsp of fennel powder.
  21. You need 1 cup of fried onion.
  22. Provide 1/4 tsp of sugar.
  23. Get 1/3 cup of cream.

Instructions to make Shahi Soya Chaap  Gravy:

  1. For Chaap :- At first grinded soyaseeds & soyabean seeds together in blender. Make smooth paste. Thn added ap flour and powders slowly slowly and make a soft dough as like Roti or Chapati. Keep aside for 10 min & greased thz dough with ghee..
  2. Now boiled enough water in a pan. Take small portions of dough and give them small size ball shape. And put them into boiled water for 10-15. When it'll be ready color will be changed. Then keep aside for 20 min. Chaap is ready..
  3. For gravy :- At first heat the pan with Ghee & fried those soya balls like light golden color. Thn keep aside..
  4. Now add Bay leaf, cardamon, cinnamon and star anise. Thn added all pastes & curd. Cooked for 2 min..
  5. When oil came out from spices thn add powders, salt, sugar and Soya-Chaap. Thn cooked for 5-6 min. No need to add water..
  6. At last added fried onions and cream and cooked for 2 min. That's it. Your Shahi Soyachaap gravy ready..
  7. With Malabar paratha or butter naan it's awesome in taste....

Place chaap chunks in hot oil. Fry the chunks until they turn slightly brown in color and take them out in a plate. Soya Chaap Gravy is quite a popular street food across the Northern Region of India, especially in Delhi.
