You already know that, to achieve true health, your diet needs to be sensible and wholesome and you need to get a good amount of exercise. The sad thing is that, at the end of the day, we don't always have the time or energy required for a healthy lifestyle. At the conclusion of the day, most of us want to go home, not to the gym. We want a delicious, greasy burger, not an equally scrumptious salad (unless we’re vegetarians). The good news is that making wise decisions doesn’t have to be a chore. If you are persistent you'll get all of the activity and healthy food choices you need. Here are some simple ways to get healthy.
Be sensible when you do your food shopping. Making good decisions when buying food means that you'll be able to eat nutritious meals without a lot of effort. Think for a minute: you don't want to go to a stressful grocery store or sit in a long line at the drive thru at the end of your day. You’re going to go home and cook what you have on hand. Fill your cupboards with wholesome foods. This makes it effortless to have a good meal--even if you want something junky--because you'll be eating something that is naturally better for you than anything you'd buy in a hurry at the store or in the fast food joint.
There are a good deal of things that factor into getting healthy. An costly gym membership and very hard to stick to diets are not the only way to do it. You can do small things every day to improve upon your health and lose weight. Being clever when you choose your food and actions is where it begins. A proper amount of physical activity each day is also necessary. Don't ignore that health isn't only about how much you weigh. It is more about making your body as powerful as it can be.

Steps to make Namsuk's Korean Bibimbap:
- is better to use rice previously made or you can make it fresh too (i've eaten it both ways and is great; in my opinion better with fresh but it could be too sticky for some)..
- i seasoned the ground beef the day before as follows: i put in blender diced carrots, zuchini, minced garlic, one small diced tomato and one red peeled and chopped apple) blend everything together and add the resulting puree on the ground beef. Mix with soy sauce, powdered onion, a pinch of salt). *the apple balance the salt and adds a nice sweetness in a healthy way*. When you are going to make your bibimbap you just heat a frying pan or wok with sesame oil and cook until brown.. it will be juicy and smeel so good..
- Fry each egg on a frying pan individually or together (if big enough) making sure they are all divided. Its not necessary to beat them (no salt or pepper needed). Then sautee your zuchini and carrots with a couple minced garlic cloves. Add the mushrooms and any other veggies u may like..
- Serving directions: Serve white rice on each bowl or plate, then add a portion of your sauteed veggies, a touch of sesame oil, a tsp of gochujan or to taste (depending how spicy you want it). Top it with one egg, and a portion of ground beef. Mix it well until its all combined and the gochujan paste has turn your dish into a vibrant sexy red..
- Enjoy!!!!! :-) there are different versions of bibimbap or other "baps" dishes ( "rice dishes). you can even add kimchi, spinach leaves, bean sprouts, etc)..
- I hope you can all etry it sometime. I learned this recipe with my great Korean friend Namsuk (i teach english to her sons for 2yrs now and we've become great friends, almost sisters)..
