  1. Provide 1 kg of carrots (grated).
  2. Provide 3-4 tbsp of ghee.
  3. Provide 1 tin of NESTLÉ MILKMAID Sweetened Condensed Milk.
  4. Take 2 tsp of cardamom powder.
  5. Provide 15-20 of cashews (chopped).
  6. Get as needed of Pistachio slivered.

Steps to make Gajar Halwa with condensed milk:

  1. Take ghee in a pan add cashews and fry them to slightly brown in colour.
  2. Now take them out and let the ghee be in the same pan..
  3. Add grated carrot to the pan and mix nicely..
  4. Cover the pan for 10 minutes till the carrots become tender. Now Sweetened Condensed Milk and continue cooking on low flame, stirring occasionally, till it dries up..
  5. Add Cardamom powder and stir.
  6. Cook till you see that carrots have softened and halwa has left ghee on the sides..
  7. Garnish gajar ka halwa with nuts and raisins and serve hot..
