  1. preheat oven to 370.
  2. add garlic and cumin to ground beef and brown in skillet and drain grease add water and stir.
  3. cut tortillas lengthwise into one inch strips.
  4. place half ground beef in greased 9x13 pan.
  5. top with tortilla strips to cover a thin layer over ground beef, uses 2 tortillas.
  6. spread layer of half can of refried beans.
  7. spread a layer of each only using half of ingredients, black beans, tomatoes, and black olives.
  8. top with 1 cup of cheese.
  9. add remaining seasoned ground beef.
  10. top with remaining beans, olives, and tomatoes.
  11. form another layer with remaining tortillas.
  12. top with remaining cheese.
  13. bake for 20 minutes and let cool 3 to 5 minutes before serving.
  14. serve and top with sour cream and lettuce to your liking.
  15. you can also add jalapeño if desired.
