The ingredients needed to cook Masala chai:

  1. Prepare 1 cup of Milk.
  2. Prepare 1/4 cup of water.
  3. Get 1/4 tsp of chai masala.
  4. Use 1 tsp of Tea Powder (chai patti).
  5. Prepare 1 1/2 tsp of Sugar.

Instructions to make Masala chai:

  1. Boil water. Add chai masala and tea powder over medium flame in a pan for 3-4 minutes..
  2. Add milk and Sugar and boil for 5-6 minutes or until the bubble starts to rise. You will notice the change in colour of the tea from milky shade to brown shade when it is ready..
  3. Turn off flame and strain masala chai through tea strainer in cups..
