Instructions to make Vegetable Pulao:

  1. In a pan, heat oil and butter. Add bay leaves. Add garlic and saute for half a minute..
  2. Now add chopped onions, carrot and grated ginger and let it saute for a minute..
  3. Add green chillies, capsicum and tomatoes. Cook it for half a minute..
  4. Now add all the masalas along with salt and lemon juice and mix it well..
  5. Add cooked rice with peas and give it a good mix. Rice should not be overcooked..
  6. Garnish with some fresh coriander. Serve hot..
